All inclusive has long been a financially wise booking option for those looking to get the most from their money. Now, with more people looking at ways to save money, this has become one of the most popular and stress-free ways to enjoy a vacation.
One of the biggest advantages of booking all inclusive is that you won’t need to worry about accommodation, food or drink – all you need do is to turn up and start having fun.
The main benefits
So why does this booking option make sense when compared to the alternatives? Firstly, it’s stress-free; you simply pick your destination, choose your accommodation type and your food and drinks options, and everything is taken care of for you. Your airfare is of course included in the price and you can also have your travel agent arrange transportation to and from the airport. As far as relaxation goes, this is as good as it gets and you can simply spend your time within a resort complex where everything is on hand.
The value-for-money aspect of this travel option is one of the major plus points. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all included, and snacks are usually available throughout the day. Many hotels will have multiple restaurants with various cuisines on offer and buffets are a normal option in the resorts. Guests will have unlimited teas and coffees throughout the day as well as soft and alcoholic drinks; local beers and spirits are normally provided but international versions are usually available for a little extra. Families especially, will find unlimited meals and drinks a bonus, and there’s no searching for restaurants, no credit card fees and no waiters to tip after every meal.
Entertainment and activities
Whether you book an adults-only resort or a family friendly hotel you’ll find that nightly entertainment and many different activities are included in the price. You won’t need to search the streets for a nightclub, some live music or even a comedy show, as these usually form part of the evening’s activities at the resorts. Kids are taken care of as well with children’s clubs, sports activities and of course swimming pools. Many of the resorts will have fitness centers, Jacuzzis and spas, and beach activities and excursions may be included but this should be arranged during the booking process.
If you’re looking to save some extra cash on your vacation then when you travel is important. The peak summer months, usually July and August depending on the destination, do come with premium prices. Booking even a few weeks either side of the peak season can drastically cut the price on your travel. Similarly, if you book to fly out mid-week you should find that the airfares will be less expensive. If you add these saving measures to your booking you should be able to spend a lot less on your vacation.
There’s nothing better than simply arriving at a destination and knowing that everything is going to be taken care of for you. Definitely one of the best ways to spend time with friends and family doing more of the things you enjoy, without having to make those daily decisions over finding restaurants and choosing your nightly entertainment. Try it once and you’ll probably never book any other way again.
